With Flair Camp X finished, we look forward to 2023 and what it has to bring. We are moving from Spain, back to Portugal so expect big changes, new classes, new teachers and plenty of parties. We can't wait to show you what we have in store.
FLAIR CAMP TRAINING
Learn about how we share our knowledge and choose our masters
This year we will have a dedicated master in 4 catergories:
- Exhibition Flair
- Working Flair
- Craft Flair
- Mixology
Each day you will rotate between all the four masters learning different moves and techniques as the week goes on.
Having the same Master in each category gives you the chance to work on moves, sequences and routines as the week progresses and learn how to put it together whilst being able to make incredible cocktails.
We choose our masters based on a few categories, being; Experience, Adaptivity, Creativity, Vibe and Skill.
This year we are focusing on bringing you a wide variety of knowledge for different backgroudns, focusing on making YOU the best flair bartenders of your generation!!
It is important that each of your Masters are able to bring something different to Flair Camp so you get a wider knowledge of learning and are able to get as much from the week as you possibly can.

A seasoned Pro when it comes to teaching others how to flair. He's trained and coached thousands, flair like a beast and doesn't stop training to ensure he is up to date to share the trends with you.

DJ & Vibe maker
Internationally recognised DJ James Trystan will be our resident DJ for the week. YES, we have a DJ during your training. James has produced his own music and DJ'd all over the world. We are so excited & lucky to have him with us.
TYPICAL FLAIR CAMP DAY
08:00 - 09:00
Wake up and fill up on the included buffet breakfast. Plenty of choices to suit all needs and probably the tastiest food in the Algarve. (we sampled the food and it is Amazing!). Vegan options available.
09:00 - 13:00
Flair Bartender and Mixology training in our dedicated 500sqm space, with music played by our resident DJ James Trystan. 1hr 20min with 3 of your masters. 5min break inbetween.
13:00 - 14:00
Lunch - More delicious food from the hotel lunch buffet
14:00 - 15:20
Final round of rotations for flair and mixology training from your masters.
15:30 - 17:00
Dedicated sponsored masterclasses from one of our famous flair bartenders covering different aspects of flair bartending and cocktail knowledge.
20:00 onwards
We have our evening sessions of tastings, tiki night, parties, bar crawls and more surprises to come.
flair camp schedule
17th Oct, Tuesday
Arrive at Hotel Baia Grande 4* Hotel. Check in, try out the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and amazing cocktails at the bar. From 7pm, we will have Welcome cocktails on the roof overlooking the ocean. That evening we will have a small flair session and get your put into your groups for the week.
18th Oct, Wednesday
Training begins at 9am in the 500sqm training roo. DJ James Trystan, starts the week off with some tunes, and the Flair Camp shop opens.
At 4pm, we have a master class from our sponsor, Dom Cristina and that evening we go to Albufeira strip, try out some of the local bars and finish in the Official Flair Bar for Flair Camp. Legends Bar Albufeira where you Master Rafael Arce will have a guest shift.
19th Oct, Thursday
Training from 9 - 3:30 and another master class from Kate Gerwin on batched and clear cocktails in association with SUPASAWA 4pm. That evening, we go to Albufeira old town to visit Flavius Lupu for his guest shift at Dominoes bar.
20th Oct, Friday
More world class training from 9 - 3:30 with our resident DJ James Trystan setting the mood, and then a Tiki Master Class from 4 - 5:30 from Oriol Elias on all things Tiki. We will then have a Tiki Night at the Hotel Pool bar, so make sure you bring your best Tiki shirt.
That evening, we are planning another guest shift this time with Akimba flair at Club route 66.
21st Oct, Saturday
This is your last FULL day of training so make it a good one, with one more master class from Diego Dillon and Nib Cachaca.
The evening is set for a guest shift at Wild & Co with Oliver Deak and finihsing the night with a late night party at KISS club where we have all sorts of surprises planned.
22nd Oct, Sunday
the morning is yours to go to the beach, sleep, and rest after the party last night.
The afternoon is dedicated to the Flair Camp Olympics.
Finally, we finish the week at Legends Bar Albufeira, with a VERY special guest shift from Vache Manoukian.

FLAIR CAMP
What is it?
Flair Camp started back in Portugal back in 2012. We are now in our 9th year. This is the best week of the year in flair bartending for you to step up your game whether you want to improve your cocktail knowledge, flair bartending game or simply up your technique.
It's not all flair flair flair. We have something for everyone. You get to learn so much from the highest grade teachers in flair, mixology and bartending in general.
